Innovation starts with curiosity, the willingness to experiment and the ambition to solve real challenges. At Amusnet, we believe in supporting emerging tech talent, encouraging continuous learning and creating opportunities for knowledge sharing beyond our teams.
This commitment brought us to the Crossroads AI Hackathon 2026, held in Sofia from 9 to 11 October, where developers, technology enthusiasts and aspiring innovators came together to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
Under the theme “AI That Does the Work,” participants were challenged to turn ambitious ideas into functional AI-powered solutions. The event brought together nearly 220 participants, mentors, jury members and partners, with 24 teams successfully delivering projects and 15 reaching the final stage.
Amusnet contributed not only through its support of the event but also through the expertise of our colleagues. Kristiyan Kalchev and Hristo Gatsinski joined as mentors, providing technical guidance and helping teams develop their solutions. Their mentorship groups delivered seven projects, three of which reached the finals, with Git Happens and Hops & Tokens earning awards.
Tsanislav Gatev represented Amusnet as a panel speaker and jury member, contributing to discussions on technology and evaluating the finalist projects. We also presented a special Amusnet award to Team Pythagoras, selected by our colleagues in recognition of the team's innovative approach.
For us, initiatives like Crossroads are an opportunity to connect experienced professionals with emerging talent, encourage experimentation and contribute to a technology community where ideas and expertise are openly shared.
