This year, we celebrate the third anniversary of our collaboration with Istinski Med, a partnership that has grown in purpose and scale - just like the bees we strive to protect.
Three years ago, we embarked on a journey by adopting three beehives in the beautiful Rodopi Mountains. Our employees welcomed this initiative with open arms, bringing creativity and fun to the mix by naming our first queen bee, the one and only "Bee-Yonce." These initial steps marked the beginning of a mission to support sustainable beekeeping while enjoying the sweet rewards of 100% pure honey straight from our adopted hives.
The success of our first year inspired us to expand further. By the second year, we had adopted six beehives, doubling the number of hardworking bees under our care. This growth symbolized our increasing dedication to safeguarding these vital pollinators and supporting the local beekeeping community. The additional honey received in the office became a delightful staple in our team's daily routines, energizing our workdays with natural goodness.
Now, as we enter the third year of our partnership, we are proud to announce a significant milestone: we have adopted 10 beehives, home to an astonishing 600,000 bees! In return for our ongoing support, these dedicated bees will produce 50 jars of real, organic honey for us each month. This sweet gift is more than a treat - it’s a symbol of the incredible synergy between technology, nature, and sustainability.
As part of our continued commitment, next year we plan to organize a visit to our adopted beehives. This special event will allow our team to meet the people who care for the hives and learn directly from them about sustainable beekeeping practices. Employees will gain firsthand insights into the delicate balance bees maintain within nature and the crucial role they play in our ecosystem. It promises to be a memorable and educational experience, deepening our connection to this initiative.
