Once again, we embraced the chance to support a cause that deeply aligns with our company’s values, dedicating time to care for stray dogs. Despite forecasts of bad weather in Sofia, we were fortunate to enjoy plenty of sunshine, which made this meaningful initiative even more special. We’re proud to uphold this tradition, continuing to make a positive impact on the community. Over 20 colleagues and their families participated, all eager to contribute to this wonderful cause.

For another year, we visited the shelter in Seslavci, where we met over 180 young stray dogs of various breeds and ages, all longing for affection and care. Stray dogs are among the most vulnerable beings in our society, facing challenges like hunger, isolation, aggression and the lack of human companionship. Our decision to focus on this cause comes from believing that even small efforts can make a meaningful difference and impact. Some dogs were a little bit scared initially, but all simply craved the love and attention of our volunteers.

The day was filled with joy and positive energy. Several of our colleagues donated food, treats, and accessories to improve the dogs’ lives, even if just a little. This initiative also sparked discussions on responsible pet ownership, supporting local animal shelters, and the broader need for community involvement. 

None of this would have been possible without the invaluable support of the volunteers from the 1500 Dog Gang, a dedicated group of individuals who voluntarily care for the dogs at the shelter. Their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the welfare of these animals make a world of difference, and they deserve our deepest gratitude.
