At Amusnet, celebrating International Women’s Day has become a cherished tradition. Every year, we take the opportunity to surprise and show our appreciation for the incredible women who make our workplace more magical and unique.
International Women’s Day, celebrated globally on March 8th, recognises women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and serves as a call to action for gender equality and women’s rights. Originating in the early 20th century, this day has grown into a worldwide movement, inspiring celebrations and initiatives that honour the contributions of women across all fields.
This year, even though the holiday fell on a weekend, we didn’t let that stop us! We kicked off the workweek in style, ensuring our 250+ female colleagues felt valued and celebrated. The morning started with an unexpected yet delightful surprise, as six of our colleagues took on the honour of delivering special gifts—Douglas cosmetics vouchers—to our extraordinary ladies.
The excitement was real as we caught them off guard—in their workspaces, mid-meeting, grabbing their morning coffee in the kitchen, or enjoying a well-deserved break on the balcony. Seeing their smiles and reactions was the ultimate reward, proving that small gestures can make a big impact.
