The company is constantly expanding by enriching its portfolio of 200+ games. All this is possible due to its motivated team of more than 600 people. Our team is growing and we are looking for a Java Architect.
As a Java Architect, you will be part of a foundation that has a profound effect on the quality of what is built on top of it. You will be there to choose the appropriate technology and frame technical standards. This might include tools, frameworks and coding standards, while catering for the supreme quality.
Your key role within the team will be to take care of such significant aspects as functionality, performance, resilience, reuse, comprehensibility, scalability, security as much as supporting the team members and other teams on following the best practices and improving the productivity.

- Proactive and open-minded attitude to improving the system and environment
- Identifying and addressing technical and design challenges, and making decisions on the architecture of the system
- Collaborating with stakeholders and project managers to define and document software requirements
- Communicating the design and architecture of the system to the development team, and ensuring they understand and follow it
- Mentoring and guiding junior developers and architects on the team
- Staying up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends and incorporating them into the design and development process as appropriate
- Ensuring the software is scalable, maintainable, and secure
- Support the infrastructure teams to translate the system architecture into appropriate infrastructure setup - network, compute, storage, etc.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:
- Self-motivated and flexible with a can-do attitude
- Capable of working under pressure and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies
- Microservices architecture experience
- Cloud architecture, preferably AWS or GCP
- Java, Kotlin or any other JVM language
- Gradle / Maven
- Distributed systems design
- Ideally, basic frontend development skills
- Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Proficient in English
